"Travel has shaped my life for as long as I can remember. At just 15, I embarked on a high school exchange semester in Australia. After graduating, I moved to Budapest, Hungary, to study veterinary medicine. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, I found myself unexpectedly in Montpellier, France—and what started as a temporary stay turned into nearly three unforgettable years.Animal welfare has always been at the heart of my motivation to become a veterinarian. At the same time, my love for Mauritius had been growing for years. As soon as travel restrictions were lifted, I decided to bring both passions together and moved there to work as a vet. What was meant to be an experience turned into two incredible years of living and working on this unique island.When I eventually returned, I kept thinking about how every single person who visited me during that time was completely captivated by Mauritius—its beauty, its atmosphere, and the feeling it leaves you with long after you’ve gone.
And that feeling is exactly what I want to share.
With Laguna Pearl Voyages, I created a way to connect my life in Germany with my life in Mauritius—allowing me to return as often as possible, and to help others experience th island in a deeper, more personal way.I hope that through this, you’ll come to love the island just as much as I do."
